Over the past year, aanswr has expanded its vision to create not just curated clothing lines featuring external names Harago, Kardo, Urban Arrest, Punaah and Yesha Sant, but also to present its family with a new way of living by transforming into an online marketplace that offers lovingly handpicked finds across jewellery, skincare, coffee and homeware, all of which echo aanswr’s distinct aesthetic and love for quality.
“As we experienced the lockdown, the essence of what was essential became all the more apparent,” Toshniwal elaborates. “Karina Gulrajani (brand manager, aanswr) and I began to dig deeper into our new collection, and realised that it was our community that was the core of the business—not just our customers, but the community of homegrown brands that were emerging and blooming through the pandemic to serve a need in local clusters.” The result? “This inspired us to connect with likeminded brands and their founders to expand aanswr from being a clothing line to the current curated marketplace it is.”
